Editorial principles
Every Naver Quinto profile should help an adult traveller make a more informed accommodation decision. We prioritise specificity over hype, distinguish editorial judgement from venue facts, and give non-gaming facilities equal or greater prominence than casino facilities.
We avoid presenting gambling as a source of income, a solution to financial pressure or a necessary part of a resort stay. We do not publish game strategies, promotional offers, prize pools, odds, inducements or links to gambling registration.
How properties are selected
A property may be included when it is an established Australian hotel within or directly connected to a licensed casino and entertainment precinct. It must also offer a meaningful range of additional facilities, such as destination restaurants, spa or wellness services, a notable pool, theatre or live events.
Selection is editorial and intentionally limited. Inclusion is not an award, certification or claim that the property is right for every reader. Omission does not imply a negative assessment.
How the NQ rating works
The NQ rating is an editorial score out of 10. It is not imported from a booking platform and it does not aggregate guest reviews. The score considers five dimensions:
- Stay quality signals — 25%: room and suite range, setting, outlook and the clarity of the overall accommodation proposition.
- Dining breadth — 20%: variety across fine dining, casual service, breakfast, bars and late-evening options.
- Wellness and pools — 20%: spa depth, fitness provision, pool design and the practicality of guest access.
- Entertainment range — 20%: theatre, events, nightlife and other experiences beyond the casino floor.
- Destination fit — 15%: connection to the surrounding city or coast and the ease of building a coherent stay.
The rating never assesses the likelihood of winning, gambling value, loyalty status, promotions or casino spend.
Scores are comparative editorial tools. Personal priorities, budget, accessibility and atmosphere may lead a reader to prefer a lower-scored property.
Sources and verification
Core facility claims are checked against current public information from the property or venue operator. When relevant, we may also consult government, regulator or official destination material. We avoid relying on unattributed promotional reposts for operational facts.
Exact prices, opening times and event calendars change too quickly to form the centre of an evergreen profile. Where a temporary condition materially affects the stay—such as scheduled pool maintenance—we may flag it, but travellers remain responsible for confirming current details.
Updates and review dates
Profiles are reviewed periodically and whenever a material correction is received. The homepage states its latest editorial review date. An update may change factual copy, a stay note, category placement or an NQ rating when the underlying resort offer has changed substantially.
Historical page versions are not promised. Readers should not rely on Naver Quinto as a real-time source for hours, rates, venue entry conditions, transport disruption or event availability.
Corrections policy
If you identify a factual error, email hello@naverquinto.com with the page, the statement in question, the correct information and a reliable source. We review corrections on their evidence. Material errors are amended as soon as reasonably practicable; differences of taste may remain editorial judgement.
Commercial and brand independence
Naver Quinto does not accept deposits, make reservations or operate affiliate booking links on the published guide. A property cannot buy a higher rating. If future commercial relationships affect editorial presentation, they will be labelled clearly where they appear.
Hotel and casino names are used for identification and remain the property of their respective owners. Listing a venue does not state or imply sponsorship, partnership or endorsement.
